This beautiful traditional thunderbird pendant/pin on a sterling silver chain was most likely made by Zuni Pueblo artisans. It includes both inlay and channelwork techniques. The image represents the eagle, but in jewelry it is often referred to as the thunderbird. This thunderbird is pictured with open wings and head turned sideways. It is made of sterling silver inlay. The stones all appear to be original. Measures 1.25 x 0.5 inches. Back has a bale for hanging on chain and a working double-ring clasp.
